A select shop that offers stylish and high-quality lifestyle products from Scandinavia and Japan. You can choose high quality items as gifts. They do not accept cash payments and only allow card or electronic money transactions, making it a new age store.

They carry brands such as Ittala, Arabia, Nousaku, and Kähler, among others.

An Italian restaurant with a wide variety of delicious appetizers that leave you thoroughly satisfied. The cost performance ratio is impressive given the quality of the dishes. Its location in Kita-Kamakura is perfect for exploring temples and adds to its appeal. It’s always crowded, so making a reservation is a must. They also offer a rich selection of wines by the glass, making it a great place to enjoy at any time.

It’s a delight that appetizers are included in all courses. Lunch starts at 1,600 yen.

A rye bread shop created by a Finnish artisan. They offer a wide variety of rye breads, including Nordic-style deli sandwiches and cinnamon rolls with an authentic, mild sweetness. They also feature Finnish ingredients, creating an authentic Nordic atmosphere to enjoy.

They also serve rare dishes like Karjalanpiirakka, which features rice as a filling, something you don’t often get to enjoy.

A delightful dessert café where you can indulge in luxurious dessert platters with enjoyable presentations. From the takeout Quinamans and Canelés to the beautiful cakes, it’s a dream world that satisfies all dessert lovers. Reservations are recommended for weekends.

The soufflé is a masterpiece where you pour the sauce into the center hole and serve it with sherbet.

A bakery that enjoys absolute trust and popularity among the local residents. Every baked good they offer is delicious and is a consistent feature on dining tables in Kamakura. The prices for deli sandwiches are relatively reasonable. Many locals come to buy items like ‘Everybody’s Bread’ and ‘Hard Toast’ when they are freshly baked.

The delicate appearance is very Kamakura-esque. Open from 10:00 to 18:00.

Handmade Soba Sato

Kamakura, Ōgigaya

Sato, a stylish soba restaurant, is located on the left side when you head towards Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine from Komachi Street. Even on weekdays, you need a reservation to get inside. They offer tempura and a variety of appetizers, all of which are delicious. It’s a great place to enjoy a delightful time with lunchtime drinks.

The small interior seats around 5-6 people and is often fully booked. You can make a reservation by calling 0467-37-8381.

Kamakura, Yukinoshita

A simply delicious Italian restaurant. It’s recommended for those times when you want to enjoy a hearty Italian meal without any fuss. You can savor natural wines, handmade pasta, Kamakura vegetables, and game dishes. It’s also advisable to make a reservation here to guarantee a spot.

The handmade pasta and flavorful, generous portions of sauces are excellent.

KAMAKURA-HASE – UNI COFFEE ROASTERY

Kamakura, Hase

A café with a wide selection of gelato, conveniently located near Hase Temple and Yuigahama Street. It’s a great spot for a quick takeaway or a short café break while strolling around. They have benches outside, and the addition of a carabiner for dog leashes is a nice touch.

VERVE COFFEE Kamakura Yukinoshita Store

Kamakura, Yukinoshita

Verve is a roastery cafe originating from California. The laid back atmosphere and the relaxed West Coast vibes make the interior cozy and comfortable. While the coffee is excellent, be sure to try their open sandwiches and waffles, as they are quite delicious here.

A popular restaurant for Edo-style sushi. The lunch menu is quite reasonable given the quality. The sushi servings are small but abundant, allowing you to enjoy a variety of ingredients. It’s highly trusted by locals, and it’s a go-to place when hosting foreign guests.

A pastry shop famous for macarons. The impressive display case is filled with high-quality pastries. Every visit, you’ll find new gateaux, ensuring you never get bored. They also offer Japanese style cakes that are in a league of their own. The eat-in space is also a hidden gem and highly recommended.
